Cape Corel's best neighborhoods

The best place for a vacation home is close to the water. And there is a lot of that in Cape Coral. With more than 400 miles (1 mile = 1,6 kilometre) or. anymore as 640 there are more kilometers here Water channels than in Venice. The whole city is criss-crossed with it. Some are salt water canals with access to the Gulf of Mexico and other freshwater canals with access to the Caloosahatchee River. But where are the best neighborhoods in Cape Coral?? In this article I would like to give an introduction.

In Cape Coral live almost 200.000 People. They are spread over four geographical districts: Southeast (SE), Southwest (SW), Northwest (NW) and Northeast (NE). I already talked about this in the article Streets of Cape Coral, Florida .. House prices range from $200,000 for smaller ones, older out-of-the-water homes to multi-million dollar homes on the waterfront. Usually the expensive objects are on the edge of the cape near the Caloosahatchee River, that leads to the Gulf of Mexico.

The Southeast neighborhood

The SE Cape was the first area, which was developed by the Rosen Brothers in the 1950s. It contains the original inner city, that was revived in the last 10 Years. It's probably the most densely populated area with mostly built-up residential areas and lots of retail stores and restaurants. For those who like a lively area, SE Cape is the right choice for them.

The SW district

After Cape SE, Cape Southwest is the second most populated area. It most closely resembles a suburb with many newer ones, but also more expensive houses. People tend to, SW Cape as something “more upscale” to call, with some very big ones, expensive houses on the south- and western edge. There is a water suply in all areas of the Southern Cape- and sanitation.

The Cape Northwest

NW Cape is an emerging area. It is far less densely populated than the Southern Cape, especially towards the northernmost border. The north still has a lot of free land, so that there is usually still space between the houses. However, many larger objects are being built in this area, especially on the western edges, where the water plots are located on salt water canals. NW Cape is also, expand utilities and provide water and sewage to some areas. From an investor's point of view, there is potential for future increases in value. Because as soon as purchased properties are developed, their value as building land increases. However, you will then also be asked to pay for the development.

Cape Northeast

The NE Cape is probably my least favorite area. It is also less densely populated and there is no access to salt water as in the other areas. But the land prices and living costs are cheaper there and you can also get bargains as an investor. The place might not be so ideal for holiday homes, although the area should also be beautiful.

The center of Cape Coral

The central chap, where the two lines cross in the photo above, is the retail center of Cape Coral. There are many restaurant chains there, Car dealerships and large stores.
